Robert Schroeder's articles have appeared in The Washington Post, TIME Asia, The Baltimore Sun and other publications. From 1998-2001 he was a reporter for BridgeNews, covering U.S. foreign policy and energy.

Schroeder was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1970 and graduated from Bucknell University with a degree in international relations in 1992. He lives in Chevy Chase, Maryland with his wife and son.
